Short version: We process your uploaded files only to generate feedback. We do not store them. We collect minimal data to operate the service. We never sell your data.
1. Who we are
ummactually.ai is a service operated by Bigtablet, Inc., a corporation incorporated in the State of Delaware, United States ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Information we collect
Information you provide directly:
- Uploaded files (PDF, PPT, PPTX): Files you upload are processed in real time to generate AI feedback. We do not permanently store your files. Files are deleted from our systems immediately after processing is complete (typically within 60 seconds).
- Email address: If you sign in with Google or join the waitlist, we collect your email address to manage your account and send service updates.
- Payment information: If you make a purchase, payment details are processed by our payment processor. We do not store your card information.
Information collected automatically:
- IP address and browser fingerprint (for abuse prevention and credit tracking)
- Browser type, operating system, and device type
- Pages visited and features used (usage analytics)
- Cookies and localStorage data (for session and credit state management)
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and improve the ummactually.ai service
- To process your uploaded files and generate AI-powered feedback
- To manage your account, credits, and payment history
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- To send transactional emails (receipt, account notifications)
- To send product updates if you opt in
- To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
4. File processing and AI
When you upload a file, its contents are extracted as text and processed by a third-party AI service to generate feedback. We use AI services under commercial terms — your inputs are not used to train AI models by default.
We do not store the text content of your files after feedback is generated.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Third-party AI processing provider — for generating feedback (file text only, deleted immediately after processing)
- Payment processor — for handling transactions securely
- Google LLC — for authentication, if you use Google Sign-In
- Cloud infrastructure and security providers — for hosting, DDoS protection, and content delivery, solely as necessary to operate the service
- Law enforcement or government authorities, if required by applicable law
6. Data retention
- Uploaded files: Deleted immediately after processing (within 60 seconds)
- Account data: Retained while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of a deletion request
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by applicable financial regulations
- Usage logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention
7. Cookies and local storage
We use browser localStorage to save your credit count and session state locally on your device. This data does not leave your browser unless you sign in. We use cookies for authentication sessions if you sign in with Google.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
- Withdraw consent at any time

9. International data transfers
Bigtablet, Inc. is incorporated in Delaware, United States. If you access our service from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on standard contractual clauses and other appropriate mechanisms for international transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
10. Children's privacy
Our service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at cs@bigtablet.com.
11. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you not to upload documents containing highly sensitive personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on our website or emailing you. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
